Happy New Year!
Another year has gone by, which means it’s coming up to another 365 days of Me living as Nancy. Very cool! I’m wondering how many more of these sets of 365 days I get to have, and how much fun can happen between now and then. Living my life as if each day is an opportunity for new experiences, is the only way I want to play. No one truly knows which 24 hours is their last, including me, so every hour is a gift and an honor.
365 days ago my life was flipping upside down and a little on the out-of-control side. 365 day ago I would never have thought my personal space would feel like this, almost calm. About 190 days ago my life was given another chance to begin anew. A mere 120 days ago I still had a lost-sort-of-feeling inside me. Not today! And I say Hallelujah for this!
By looking at those short months ago and the results that have come in, my Happiness valve is opening up more and more. (I hadn’t reflected on all this till right now, writing this up. Yeehah!) What’s here for me today and what’s next is pretty exciting!
Life is about experiencing, feeling, sharing, loving, enhancing and expanding the joys and wonders we get to have.
Shift time – The close of 2016 is upon us, with another 365 days, 8760 hours and 525,600 minutes having already been experienced. And with 2017 being right around the corner and all them energies building up with the idea of a fresh New Year coming in, a very powerful momentum is being created.
Even though New Years Day is simply another 24 hours being offered, I’ve come to learn that the eagerness of a new year bringing in the opportunity for change and new beginnings, is what makes New Years Eve at 11:59p a very energized moment. So much FUN for everyone!
What I really enjoy doing this time of year is playing The Burning Bowl game. I love fire and writing which makes this game a perfect match. A great thing about this game is that I can play it by myself. No need to get the troops together. My plan is to have my paper, pencil and lighter ready to go on New Year’s Eve. Easy sneezy!

It’s super cool to have maths/numbers included in this post to sort of quantify what is experienced during the year which adds up to our lifetimes so far. It almost feels like a ‘yes’ moment to realize how many minutes/hours/years I’ve had the blessing to live and enjoy. I am continuing the tradition you’ve shared of the Burning Bowl again this year, I’ve been thinking about and picturing myself writing and burning for a few days now. It’s perfect to get to read this post. Thank you, Nancy, for being a remarkable touchstone for the joy in life. Happy New Year!
